The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation relocated from the 10th floor to the 4th floor at 700 University Avenue. This new floorplate was designed by Figur3 to foster a collaborative environment with a variety of formal and informal meeting rooms, a conference centre, social café and fitness area. The 280 workstations and 13 private offices are equipped with height adjustable desks, monitor arms and ergonomic task chairs. The space reflects the Cancer Foundation’s design principles which include fiscal responsibility, gratitude, celebration, and wellness, while still providing functionality to the occupational needs of the employees using the space. The new workspace is in support of the Foundation’s ambitious strategic objectives and the goal to have greater impact in the fight to conquer cancer.
